How to Select an Industrial Shrink Wrapping Machine

Choosing the right machine starts with the actual product range, not a nominal model size. Share the minimum and maximum product dimensions, individual or bundled weight, and whether packs are rigid, soft, round, irregular, unstable, or sharp-edged. Define the sustained target speed in packs per minute and any peak demand. Confirm the film material and thickness, such as POF, PE, or PVC, plus the required appearance and seal strength. Product geometry, film, and throughput determine whether an L-bar, side-seal, sleeve-seal, or other sealing and cutting method is appropriate.

For the shrink tunnel, specify temperature range, air volume and circulation, conveyor type, belt loading, and cooling needs. Explain upstream and downstream interfaces, including infeed spacing, sensors, coding, checkweighing, case packing, and line-control signals. Provide available floor space, access and maintenance clearance, electrical voltage and frequency, and compressed-air pressure and capacity. State the destination country so guarding, electrical design, documentation, and applicable safety compliance can be reviewed.
